New Delhi / EurAsian Times
Arvind Kejriwal becomes the New King of New Delhi. He propelled the Aam Aadmi Party to a historical victory over the ruling BJP, spearheaded by PM Narendra Modi and bagged 90% of total seats in Delhi.
His entry to politics was dramatic. From an Income Tax Commissioner to an activist supporting anti corruption movement, and then from 49 day chief minister to his eventual resignation, AAP chief has gone through a challenging time.
Now from mere 28 seats, the AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal has managed to get 67 seats of total 70 seats, which is seen as a big setback to the ruling BJP.
Mr. Kejriwal graduated from prestigious IIT college, and began his career with Indian Revenue Service in the Income Tax Department. He is now all set to take oath as CM of the capiTal of Delhi.
